Information for Authors
-Submission deadline is due until 6 August 2017 (not extendable)
- All abstracts should address the congress themes.
- Please note that non-English and review articles will NOT be accepted.
Abstract Guideline
- All abstracts should comprise a maximum of 300 words excluding "References".
- Please refrain from using all caps, unless absolutely necessary (e.g., for acronyms such as PET or PRESTO, etc.).
- Abstracts should be formatted to include the following parts:
1. Introduction
2. Methods: Including sufficient details when necessary may give the readers a more clear understanding of the study.
3. Results: By adding sufficient details on both data and results, you can demonstrate a clear description of the study. For example include information on data acquisition and analysis, number of the tested subjects, quantitative results and statistics where appropriate.
4. Conclusions
5. References: A maximum of 5 references can be entered per abstract.
- An example of a correct citation: Annas, G.J. (1997a), New England Journal of Medicine)
6. Figures (optional):
- Up to 4 figures can be uploaded
- Figure files should be less than 10mb in size.
- Figures should not exceed a width of 500 pixels.
- Acceptable File Formats include JPG, TIFF, PNG, GIF.
- If you would like to include a caption for your figure, please embed it directly onto the figure.

Presentation Guidelines
1- Each of the accepted abstracts shall be presented by the first authors
2- The posters are encouraged to be vertical in the standard size of 70*90 cm
3- Posters should be at a level that will provide a positive viewing experience for the attendees. An effective poster is self-contained and self-explanatory. Viewers can proceed on their own while leaving the author free to discuss points raised in inquiry
4- All posters should be balanced with both figures and texts and they shall not be formatted as either journal printouts or slide show presentations
5- Unlike slide based presentations, time spent at a poster presentation is determined by the viewer, not the author
6- All the presentations (posters and oral talks) are only in English.
7- The abstracts accepted as oral presentation are strictly limited to 15 minutes, including question/answer period.
8- The first author of each accepted abstract is required to register for the congress and attend the congress to present the work.
9- Everybody must pay the registration fee, except the keynote/invited speakers.
